My name is Maggie Colosimo
I am a Colorado certified early childhood education coach and trainer and a preschool teacher with 10 years experience.

I am a wife, mother, pet owner, and life-long-learner.

When my oldest daughter was almost 3, all of her playmates set off for preschool. She has a fall birthday and would be a year behind them in school, I had to find a preschool that would take a child not yet 3. I happened to land at a play-based co-operative preschool. Because parents were required to volunteer in the classroom, I discovered my love for teaching preschool. I joke that my girls graduated preschool, but I never did.

I believe that we all have something that sparks joy in our lives, but sometimes we get in the way of ourselves. Let's work together to reignite your spark and to bring your dreams from Earth to shining star.

Story
So where did our name come from?
Told by our founder Maggie Colosimo.
I am a Colorado native and grew up in North Denver. My family and I spent a lot of time in the mountains. My mom is a city gal and my dad is a mountain man. When we were in the mountains I loved lying in the back of our pickup with my younger brother, looking up at the millions of stars. We could always see more stars when we were away from the city lights. When we would drive I-70 back to Denver, there was a moment where we were surrounded by the darkness of the mountains. Suddenly the lights from Denver could be seen. At that moment when we saw the city lights my mom would say, almost to herself, "ahhh, my stars."
I grew to realize that my parents were teaching me to be balanced like they balanced each other.
​I have always thought of the city lights as my Earth stars, grounding me so that I am able to reach for the stars above me. I created Earth Star Coaching, LLC so that I can help people find their grounding and reach their dreams.
